CYPRUS STATE FAIR AUTHORITY MASTER PLAN, NICOSIA

The masterplan of the CSFA in Nicosia aims to divide the land currently occupied by the Authority, to provide development land for new government buildings, district bus station, new Expo, Offices and Hotel. The development site West of Nicosia, is a large plot of land located between the international airport of Nicosia which remains dormant since 1974 and the city centre of Nicosia. The Feasibility Study “Regeneration and Development Proposals West of Nicosia” was concentrated to provide alternative development scenarios and proposing potential uses of the area and providing initial cost estimates for possible developments. The minimum development proposals were a new Expo for CSFA, government office buildings in the land owned by the State and a Hotel to support the delegates attending the Expo.
